The National Archaeological Museum of Tarragona (MNAT) has participated this Thursday February the 1st in the conference on Accessibility in World Heritage Cities held at the Palau de Congressos de Tarragona. The director of the MNAT, Mònica Borrell, along with representatives of the Giravolt project of the Catalan Agency for Cultural Heritage for the digitization of heritage, presented the paper "The potential of 3D technologies in the accessibility of heritage: from 3D printing to virtual reality".
The presentation was an opportunity to share details of the project of digitization and creation of 3D models of the MNAT collection and sites, with a special focus on the work recently developed in the Centcelles complex.
